Volunteers Needed - You are our lifeline to Chesterfield History
On May 25, 1749, Chesterfield County was officially chartered and split from Henrico County.  Throughout 2024, the county will celebrate its 275th anniversary with numerous events to give residents an opportunity to join in the celebration.

 Key Upcoming Events:
  • March  22, 7pm, CHSV Winter Lecture Series – Chesterfield County 275th Presentation, by Bryan Truzzie at Beulah Methodist Church, 6930 Hopkins Road, Chesterfield, VA 23234
  • April  27, 10am, CHSV Plant, Craft & Bake Fundraiser at Castlewood, 10201 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832
  • May  4, 10am, Eppington Spring Festival at Eppington Plantation, 14602 Eppes Falls Road, Chesterfield, VA 23838
  • May  25, 11am, Chesterfield 275th Anniversary Celebration on the Historic 1917 Courthouse Green on Iron Bridge Road
  • May 25, 6pm, Chesterfield 275th Evening Concert & Fireworks  at the Chesterfield Fairgrounds, 10300 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield, 23832
  • May 26, 2pm, Chesterfield Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds, 10300 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832
