 Mother’s Day TeaEnjoy a relaxing afternoon at Magnolia Grange for a specialty tea and presentation.Enjoy a period interpretative program. Finger sandwiches, dessert and tea provided. Tours of the house will be offered and the gift shop will be open. Planters Festival : Experience an afternoon of enjoyment as you take a historical look at the past of jobs and crafts on a 19th century farm at Magnolia Grange. Discover what life was like in Chesterfield on the farm as you encounter living history, period demonstrations, crafters and children’s period activities. Ice Cream Social :  Come by and socialize with each other in the Good Ol’ Summer Time! Learn about the history and tools that were used to make ice-cream in the 1800’s. Included in your admission to the museum, is delicious ice-cream with several delightful toppings for you to choose from. National Watermelon Day:  
Free slice with admission, August 3rd, 2017.   Take a break from the heat of summer at Magnolia Grange. Learn the interesting history about National Watermelon Day. Adult Heritage Craft Work Shop  at the Magnolia Grange House Museum


Wax FlowersWorking with Wax-Wax Flower Making and Candle Making: Learn the fine art of creating elegant wax flowers and what their synbolsic meanings were during the Victorian Era.  Particpants will make several different kinds of wax flowers suitable for a show box display or flower vase along with making a hand dipped and hand rolled beeswax candles.  Saturday, April 29, 2017, 2 pm-4pm.  Cost is $15.  Class is held at the Magnolia Grange House Museum, 10020 Ironbridge Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832.  Pre-Registration is required.  Please contact LeeAnne Ball for information at 804-748-1498.
