Experience what happens when science meets history as you learn about the methods and techniques that are used in the paranormal field. Do you enjoy shows like Ghost Hunters or Ghost Adventures? Have you ever wanted to know more about the equipment used by paranormal investigators while you uncover the mysteries at a haunted location?   Then this is the event for you! Join Spirited History's paranormal investigators as you explore the site for paranormal activity based on the supernatural encounters that they have documented at Magnolia Grange House Museum. Be sure to bring your cameras, digital recorders, and a flashlight. Please wear soft soled shoes. Funds for this event are donated to the Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia for preservation. Paranormal Workshop:  Haunted Objects:  Join LeeAnne Ball, the Director of Spirited History, as she delves into the unusual world of haunted or cursed objects. Do these haunted or cursed objects cause harm, and can they store some type of caustic energy?  During this workshop several famously haunted or cursed objects will be discussed, along with, details about haunted objects that have connections to the historic locations in Chesterfield County. At the end of the workshop attendees will have an opportunity to take photos, record for EVPS, and investigate right along with seasoned paranormal investigators from Spirited History through Magnolia Grange House Museum. Haunted Magnoilia Grange

Magnolia Grange House Musem:  This Federal-style plantation house, built in 1822, was named after the circle of Magnolia trees that once graced its front lawn. The house museum is noted for its distinctive architecture and interior embellishments. Three families lived in the house, each making important contributions to life in Chesterfield County. Today, the house is furnished with artifacts that interpret life at a country plantation during the 19th century. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday, 10a.m.-4p.m. and Saturday 10a.m.-2p.m.  Magnolia Grange, 10020 Iron Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832.  For more information, call 796-1479.
