Magnolia Grange House Musem: This
Federal-style plantation house, built in 1822, was named after the circle of
Magnolia trees that once graced its front lawn. The house museum is noted
for its distinctive architecture and interior embellishments. Three families
lived in the house, each making important contributions to life in
. Today, the house
is furnished with artifacts that interpret life at a country plantation
during the 19th century. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday, 10a.m.-4p.m.
and Saturday 10a.m.-2p.m. Magnolia Grange, 10020
