Chesterfield Genealogy

The Geneaology Committee is abstracting Court Order Book 8, the 1860 census, and early tithables of Chesterfield. The Committee is collecting family history - ancestral charts with family group sheets for the file as well as obituary notices and other newspaper articles. Charts and any copies of documents submitted should have your name and address written on each page. The library now has a computer and indexes for various types of records are being compiled.
